My paper wins the best PhD paper

I am honored to have received the prize for my job market paper at the 7th Asset Pricing Conference organized by LTI@UniTO at Collegio Carlo Alberto. It was a great opportunity to receive a discussion from Fabio Trojani.

I also enjoyed a lot the presentations and discussions from all the speakers. Many thanks to the organizers for such an insightful and engaging conference!

Keeping my spine in line with my career!

Nothing feels better than a workout to refresh my body and mind. Especially, I feel more positive and productive after doing Pilates!

I love learning, teaching, and doing research. Same for my hobby: I am training for the Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates Comprehensive certification. You can also find me occasionally at BASI Pilates Academy Amsterdam as an apprentice teacher.

My interview for the PhD council

Why did you want to be part of this council?

There are a lot of memes about ‘life as a PhD student’. Some of these can be true for a lot of people, such as PhDs having trouble maintaining a work-life balance. That’s why, through the council, I want to help everyone enjoy the PhD journey while also excelling at it. By covering the concerns in our meetings, I am also more aware of potential difficulties during my PhD and I know how to resolve them in a professional manner. Finally, I learned how to make decisions as part of a team on behalf of our PhD community.

My interview for the faculty female leaders

What advice would you give your 17-year-old self, reflecting on your personal or professional challenges, experiences or successes?

At the age of seventeen, I never expected that I would be making my way into academia like I am now.

My first time presenting my first paper

Many thanks for including my paper at the Frontiers of Factor Investing Conference. This was my first time presenting my first paper outside my department. I had a great opportunity to meet many faculty members and practitioners. All great talks and valuable feedback at the end of the day!
