Such a great period! I met so many great people, received valuable feedback on my papers, and gained lots of inspiration for my research agenda.
Also, I was at the AFA conference, had flyouts, attended workshops, worked on my papers, and developed new ideas at the same time.
Truly enjoying my final year of the PhD!
I always try to keep my spine in line with my career—by practicing Pilates!
My passion for learning extends beyond research and into all aspects of my life. After two years of dedication and joy, I gained deep insights into body anatomy and mastered about four hundred exercises. Now, I am proud to be a fully certified teacher through BASI (Body Arts and Science International).
Happy to share my job market paper at the AFA/ASSA Poster Session!
My paper explores the asset pricing implications of superstar firms. These dominant firms, with their large size and market power, can distort efficient capital allocation. I find that capital misallocation between superstar and non-superstar firms predicts negative economic growth, and its changes represent a priced risk factor.
Many thanks to the conference for the travel grant.

I am honored to have received the prize for my job market paper at the 7th Asset Pricing Conference organized by LTI@UniTO at Collegio Carlo Alberto. It was a great opportunity to receive a discussion from Fabio Trojani.
I also enjoyed a lot the presentations and discussions from all the speakers. Many thanks to the organizers for such an insightful and engaging conference!

Glad to present my poster at the CREDIT conference 2024 - The Frontiers of New Risks: AI, Digital and Sustainability Transition. This poster is about my job marker paper, titled “Market Concentration, Capital Misallocation, and Asset Pricing”. I had a great talk with Gino Cenedese and Marcin Kacperczyk.

Why did you want to be part of this council?
There are a lot of memes about ‘life as a PhD student’. Some of these can be true for a lot of people, such as PhDs having trouble maintaining a work-life balance. That’s why, through the council, I want to help everyone enjoy the PhD journey while also excelling at it. By covering the concerns in our meetings, I am also more aware of potential difficulties during my PhD and I know how to resolve them in a professional manner. Finally, I learned how to make decisions as part of a team on behalf of our PhD community.
